New APP!

E-Blast Text Proposal:

New for Spring Branch Girl’s Choir Families!!

I’m excited to be launching a new communications tool for all SBGC families! This year we are using an app that will allow you to keep all of your information in one place, has a calendar feature, chat options, and more! Moving forward, we will be using TeamApp to communicate with parents and choir members.

In order to access TeamApp, start by going to your mobile app store and downloading the program. The logo you are looking for is below. Once you have downloaded the app itself, you need to search for Spring Branch Girl’s Choir. You can spell it out, or do a search for SBGC, both should find us! To confirm, our page header looks like the Header above. For those who use business phones and are not allowed to install independent apps, you can always still access the information via www.teamapp.com. Set up your account and look for SBGC just as you would on a mobile device.

Once you have found our page, request access to the choir you are in, and an admin will approve you. Once you have access to the app, you will be able to see a news section, which will keep you up to date on new developments and information. You will also see your event page, which has all our concerts and events already uploaded and includes location maps. Please use the chat feature to ask questions or request information from either the full group or any one individual. There is also a document section which will hold information for you (such as copies of the handouts) and a photo gallery where you can upload photos of your daughter enjoying all her SBGC activities!!

First Rehearsal

Dear families of SBGC

First of all, we hope that you are safe and that your family is well.

We are eager to get back to a sense of normalcy as I am sure that you are too.
As it stands, SBISD will go back to school on Monday 9/11. If this is the case, I would like to start rehearsals on the 12th.

If you cannot make this rehearsal, or the next few, or even the whole semester, I want to assure you that your daughter’s place in SBGC will not be lost. If there is a financial burden, similarly, your daughter’s place would not be lost.

If you would like to help financially sponsor another student, it can be done so anonymously. Please speak with our president Erin Dietsch. We also need volunteers for the first couple of rehearsals for signup and uniforms. If you signed up previously, please volunteer again. If you are now unable to do so, please email Erin.

Our girls love love love to sing; it is in their spirit. I know first hand that being in any music group creates bonds beyond anything in a normal classroom, and this group has something very special about it. I am looking forward to the magic that the girls bring to each and every rehearsal.

SATURDAY CANCELLED!

This weekend’s camp is cancelled due to the weather. Please stay safe!
Rehearsal’s will resume August 29th, 2017 at Northbrook Middle School 4:30-6:00.
Registration will be available at the rehearsal as well as a way to pay for the dues (Cash and check only).

Welcome!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to 2016-2017 SBGC School Year!

We hope that everyone had a fantastic summer and that your daughter is as excited about SBGC this year as we are!
We have two new directors who are super fantastic and we cannot be luckier to have them on board, and we are super thrilled to have Mrs. Luthy and Mrs. Gonzalez coming back to play piano for us!!

Before we get started with the year, there are a few things that need to be taken care of:
1st) Please click on the following link to register your daughter(s) for this year (all singers). FILL OUT IN GOOGLE FORMS

2nd) Please click on the following link to volunteer your parental time for our Saturday Fun Day (August 27th). http://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040c4aaaaa2d6-sbgc1

3rd) Please print the attached form and bring it to the Saturday Fun Day or first day of rehearsal.

Things to remember:
1) Go to Springbranchgirlschoir.com and register your email on the left hand side. We will be mailing you from there from now on.
2) Saturday Fun Day is Saturday August 27th, 2016 – Registration begins at 8:00 (bring cash/check – no card), camp starts at 9:00, Mini Concert at 3:15, Pick up at 3:30. Wear Hawaiian clothes. Location – Cedar Brook Elementary
3) First rehearsal is Tuesday August 30th, 2016 – Cedar Brook Elementary – 4:30-6:00

If your daughter has chosen not to continue with this organization, please be patient with us as we remove your email from the group.

Rehearsal & Pick-Up Info

Rehearsals

We are so glad you are able to come to Cedar Brook Elementary for your weekly rehearsals. All choirs can enter through the left facing side of the building near the bus ramp. Restrooms are located outside of the music room area and just off of the doors to the gym. We ask all girls and families to respect this request and stay outside of the teacher’s lounge and main instructional areas. Please do your best to be seated with music and pencil in hand by 4:30pm each Tuesday. Please pick your daughter up in the assigned areas so that the directors can monitor dismissal. For your safety, NO ONE should be picked up at the front of the school.
